COMSTOCK, MI - Comstock Park Public Schools is asking voters next month to approve a millage that would provide funds for the district to improve safety and security, upgrade technology, acquire buses and repair school buildings. The district has a 10-year sinking fund millage on the Tuesday, May 7, election ballot that would levy the authorized rate of 0.9576 mills, or $0.9576 on each $1,000 of taxable valuation. The millage is set to expire in 2024 and would generate approximately $538,261 in its first year if approved by voters. The...
