Bomb threats over drag queen story hour in Lancaster, touches off political battle

In the wake of bomb threats that forced evacuations and shut down parts of downtown Lancaster on Saturday, county Democratic officials are excoriating Republicans counterparts for spreading misinformation about a drag queen story hour that had been planned at the public library.

Lancaster County Democratic Committee chairman Tom O’Brien took to task county and state lawmakers who had pushed back on the event at the Lancaster Public Library, characterizing it as pushing “politicized woke ideology” .
