Nebraska Regents Chairman nominates CFO Chris Kabourek as interim president

University of Nebraska Board of Regents Chairman Tim Clare nominated Chris Kabourek as NU’s interim president if approved by the Regents. Kabourek currently serves as the chief financial officer for NU and is a part of the president’s executive cabinet. If the suggestion is approved by the Regents at their meeting on Dec. 1, 2023, Kabourek will hold this role, as well as his duties as CFO, starting Jan. 1, 2024.
