Derek Chauvin to cost Minneapolis an additional $9M for police brutality prior to George Floyd

The Minneapolis City Council will pay nearly $9 million to two people killer cop Derek Chauvin brutalized three years before he murdered George Floyd on a city street. John Pope, 20, will receive $7.5 million stemming from a rough encounter with Chauvin that left him bleeding from his ear, according to the Star Tribune. The victim was 14-years-old when Chauvin used his knee to pin the boy down in the victim’s family home.
