Employee Lawsuit Follows Elon Musk's Twitter Layoff Announcement

Multiple Twitter (TWTR) employees have filed a class-action lawsuit against the company following a layoff announcement.
An email sent to staff on Thursday evening informed employees they would receive notification of their employment status by noon Friday ET, Reuters reports. The layoffs will end Elon Musk's first official week as Twitter's owner and is expected to include an estimated 3,700 employees of the company's 7,500 work force.
