THE HOUSE WILL reconvene this weekend to vote on Democrats' bill to inject billions of dollars into the U.S. Postal Service and halt any operational changes until after the November election even as the recently installed postmaster general sought to reassure lawmakers on Friday that his agency could handle the expected influx of mail ballots.
