In-N-Out Burger, the cultishly adored California fast-food chain, plans to open a restaurant in Ridgefield, Washington, its first location in the Evergreen State. But what does that mean for Portland? As The Oregonian/OregonLive reported last year, previous applications filed by the burger beheamoth for potential locations in Beaverton, Tualatin and Hillsboro appear to be on hold. Of course, Ridgefield — despite sitting across state lines — isn’t too far out of Portland’s orbit.
