On Jan. 20, Japan made history and became the fifth country to ever successfully land a spacecraft on the moon. Now, the world can see what the spacecraft can on the lunar surface. In a new set of images taken just before Japan's SLIM lunar lander shut down to conserve power, the moon's surface is revealed as a barren but rocky landscape dotted with boulders.
