Mayor Mike Duggan on Tuesday enthusiastically kicked off the 30-day countdown until the NFL draft kicks off, leading a news conference at the site of the event in downtown Detroit. Hundreds of thousands of visitors are expected to attend the NFL draft April 25-27, whose footprint stretches from Campus Martius south to Hart Plaza in downtown Detroit.
