Open houses scheduled to talk about potential sites for new Utah State Prison

Three informational public open houses have been scheduled for residents to learn about five potential sites for the new Utah State Correctional Facility.

The events will take place in Salt Lake Tooele and Utah counties.

The open houses are sponsored by the Prison Relocation Committee. Each event will have informational displays as well as a moderated question-and-answer session. Officials will also be at the open houses to answer questions.
