Jersey City: Deadly gun battle kills six people
A police officer and at least five other people have died in a series of gun battles in Jersey City, in the US state of New Jersey.
Two other police officers were wounded during the incident, which ended in a shootout after two gunmen barricaded themselves in a kosher supermarket.

UK voters choose lawmakers in election seen as dead heat
British voters streamed to schools, churches and pubs Thursday for a say in their country's future, voting for lawmakers in an election expected to produce no clear victor and lead to days of frantic haggling for power.
Polls put Prime Minister David Cameron's Conservatives and Ed Miliband's Labour Party in a dead heat. Neither looks able to win a majority of Parliament's 650 seats.
