Republican lawmakers in Michigan rejected an extension of the state’s coronavirus emergency declaration, instead voting to authorize a lawsuit challenging Democratic Gov. Gretchen Whitmer’s authority.

Trump sues banks to block House subpoenas for records
President Trump has filed suit against Deutsche Bank and Capital One in an attempt to block congressional subpoenas for his business records.
The lawsuit by Trump, sons Donald Jr. and Eric and daughter Ivanka was filed Monday in federal court in New York. The Trump Organization and the Donald J. Trump Revocable Trust are among the other plaintiffs.

US attorney general finds 'no voter fraud that could overturn election'
US Attorney General William Barr, a top ally of President Trump, has said the Justice Department has found no evidence of fraud in the 2020 election.
"To date, we have not seen fraud on a scale that could have affected a different outcome in the election," said the top US law enforcement agent.
