A student at a Paterson school was found with a gun when police came to question him there about an unrelated incident, officials said.
Detectives went to the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Elementary School on Wednesday afternoon to arrest the boy and discovered a handgun while searching him, a spokesman for the school district told NJ Advance Media.
