Additional Information
Abridge News is defunct. Its stated mission was to “increase empathy and critical thinking in the world by promoting diverse perspectives.”
Each weekday, their team (of humans) picked a debate-worthy topic. Often, these were political in nature. For each topic, Abridge News curated four unique opinion or editorial articles that took different sides of a debate. Sample arguments, or highlights, from these op-eds are arranged side-by-side on the Abridge News website, app, and email newsletter. Abridge News introduced each opinion spectrum with a set of quick facts that provided additional context for readers.
