Man fatally shot in Southeast Washington, police say
A man was fatally shot early Saturday morning in Southeast Washington, according to D.C. police.
At about 12:25 a.m., officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 4000 block of Fourth Street SE, a police spokesperson said. Officers found a man dead in a hallway, the spokesperson said.

Disqualified Legislators Can't File To Run In 2024
(Salem, OR) -- Oregon legislators with 10 or more unexcused absences during the 2023 session won't be allow to run in the 2024 election. Oregon Secretary of State LaVonne Griffin-Valade directed the Oregon Elections Division to implement an administrative rule to clarify the law passed by voters last November.
