North region softball notebook, April 12: Notes, can’t miss games & rankings

It was a great week all across North Jersey for softball. With the weather cooperating we finally got a relatively full week of games and a good look at some of the state’s best.

In Essex County, a Top 20 showdown between Columbia and Livingston went Livingston’s way after Columbia knocked the Lancers out of last year’s state tournament.
