Trump's legal team did not request a jury for his fraud trial in New York. But even if they had, it wouldn't have guaranteed a jury. On Oct. 2, a civil fraud trial against former President Donald Trump began in New York City. The case, brought by New York Attorney General Letitia James, accuses Trump and his company of deceiving banks, insurers and others by chronically overstating his wealth by as much as $3.6 billion.
