CATHEDRAL CITY, CA — 71-year-old man was discovered floating dead in the pond of a Cathedral City country club Monday, but authorities said there were no signs of foul play. The victim, identified only as a Cathedral City resident, was found about 9:30 a.m. in the golf course pond for the Date Palm Country Club on Date Palm Drive, according to the Cathedral City Police Department.
