Trump Talks Key Issues in Fox News Iowa Town Hall

Republican 2024 front-runner Donald Trump discussed several top issues in a solo town hall hosted by Fox News (Right bias) in Iowa on Wednesday. Here are some key quotes.

Immigration: "We are going to have the largest deportation effort in the history of our country, we're bringing everybody back where they came from. We have no choice." 

Abortion: "For 54 years, they were trying to get Roe v. Wade terminated, and I did it. We did something that was a miracle." Trump added, "But you've got to win elections because if you talk five or six weeks [for bans], a lot of women don't know if they're pregnant in five or six weeks. I want to get something where people are happy. This has been tearing our country apart for 50 years."

China: Asked about reports that his businesses took millions of dollars from China while he was president, Trump said, "If I have a hotel and somebody comes in from China, that's a small amount of money. But I was doing services for them... I don't get $8 million for doing nothing."

VP Pick: "I can't tell you that, really," Trump said when asked who he's considering as his running mate. "I mean, I know who it's going to be." NBC News (Lean Left) reported afterward that Trump's campaign later said "nothing is finalized."
