Woman killed in shooting at southeast Wichita apartment, police say
WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) - Wichita police say a woman has been killed in a shooting at an apartment complex on the city's southeast side. Officers responded just before 2 a.m. Thursday to the report of a shooting at Paige Place Apartments near Harry and Rock Road. Capt. Chad Beard said they arrived to find a woman in her 30s with a gunshot wound to her upper extremities. She died at the scene.
