Long Island Shelter To Offer Low-Cost, Free Pet Adoptions Over Holidays
BROOKHAVEN, NY — The cats and dogs at the Brookhaven Animal Shelter and Adoption Center all wish they had a home by now. To help them out, town officials are offering low-cost and free adoptions at two holiday events in the next few weeks. Adoptions will be $65 during a St. Patrick’s Day weekend event Saturday and Sunday, and there will be free adoptions during Easter week from March 25-31.
