HAYS COUNTY, Texas (KXAN) — A San Marcos man was sentenced May 16 following a 2019 crash that led to a San Marcos police officer losing her leg. According to Hays County court documents, 63-year-old Neil Sheehan was charged with failure to slow or vacate lane causing bodily injury, a class B misdemeanor. Following a plea deal, Sheehan received a sentence of 12 months of community supervision.
