Mexico's president has ruled out allowing U.S. strikes against cartels within Mexican borders, a day after U.S. President Donald Trump said again this week that he was prepared to take whatever action deemed necessary to stop drugs coming across the border.
"It's not going to happen," Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum said on Nov. 18.
"[Trump] has suggested it on various occasions or he has said, 'we offer you a United States military intervention in Mexico, whatever you need to fight the criminal groups.'"
