On Tuesday, Sen. JD Vance (R-Ohio) and Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz (D) faced off in a vice-presidential debate for what could be the last time that Americans hear from either presidential ticket on the debate stage before Election Day.

The stakes were high for a vice-presidential debate, so The Washington Post once again asked uncommitted, swing-state voters in real time about their reactions to Tuesday’s debate.

They thought Vance performed better, regardless of how they plan to vote in November.
