I became excited over the concept for writer/director Maggie Gyllenhaal’s The Bride! from the moment it was announced. A wilder retelling of Mary Shelley’s classic horror novel, mixed in with a reinterpretation of The Bride of Frankenstein, the art that sold the film was beautiful.
