The deadline for qualifying Trader Joe's shoppers to get a payment in a multi-million dollar class action lawsuit is fast approaching.

A lawsuit filed in California accused Trader Joe's of including the first six and last four digits of the shopper's credit or debit card on the receipts of a small number of transactions at some stores. Though other significant information, like the middle digits and expiration date, was not included, the lawsuit says Trader Joe's violated the Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act.

Trader Joe's denied any wrongdoing, noting that no customers reported experiencing identity theft because of the receipts. Still, America's favorite grocer agreed to the proposed $7.4 million settlement...
