Yakima County burn ban will expand to include bonfires
A burn ban in Yakima County will expand on Monday to include bonfires. The Yakima County Fire Marshal’s Office has expanded the countywide burn ban in unincorporated Yakima County to include bonfires in addition to yard waste, a news release said. Burning debris or processed lumber is not allowed. The ban is in response to high temperatures and dry conditions, the fire marshal’s office said.
