Flower Mound’s Nicole Humphries wins state title in 800, just like her sister
AUSTIN — In 2022, Flower Mound’s Samantha Humphries won the state title in the Class 6A girls 800 meters in 2:07.71. On Saturday night, her twin sister Nicole Humphries improved upon that. Nicole, an Oregon signee like her sister, not only won a state title in the 800, but her time of 2:06.24 broke the 6A state-meet record of 2:06.71 that was run by McKinney Boyd’s Aaliyah Miller in 2016.
