Hate Crime Charge After Online Food Delivery Goes Bad In Rockland
Ramapo police were called to a dispute on Old Nyack Turnpike in Monsey on Thursday. Police were told the victim had ordered food through an online food delivery service; however, the wrong address was entered into the order. That had lengthened the driver’s delivery time. When he did arrive, the driver is alleged to have spoken angrily to the customer, using antisemitic language, police said.
