UNION COUNTY, NJ — The Interstate 78 eastbound ramp from Diamond Hill Road in Berkeley Heights is scheduled to be closed on Thursday to remove the concrete barrier and reopen the right turn lane onto the ramp, announced New Jersey Department of Transportation(NJDOT).

ROSELLE PARK, NJ - A pedestrian was fatally struck by a NJ Transit train Sunday morning in Union County, officials said.
