Colorado U.S. Marshals fly to Canada, extradite homicide suspect to Boulder
Deputy U.S. Marshals from Colorado flew to Canada this week to extradite a fugitive suspect back to the United States, officials announced Friday. Joel Rioux, 44, was in the custody of the Alberta Sheriff’s Office in Canada awaiting extradition on homicide charges when Marshals arrived to take him back to Boulder County, according to a news release from the U.S. Marshals Service Denver.
