Child tests positive for cocaine, investigation underway
MADISON, Wis. (WKOW) -- An investigation is underway regarding child neglect after a child tested positive for drugs, Madison Police Chief Barnes said in a blog post.
Around 5:45 a.m. on Monday, officers responded to a local hospital in the central part of town for a child testing positive for cocaine.
Child Protective Services took custody of the child.
