NBC provided former President Donald Trump’s presidential campaign commercial time for free during Sunday’s NASCAR playoff race after his opponent, Vice President Kamala Harris, appeared on Saturday Night Live on the network over the weekend. The decision to offer to the free air time was due to the Federal Communication Commission’s “equal time” rule, according to The Hollywood Reporter, citing a source.
