One student, a 15-year-old boy, was taken to a hospital in critical condition, police said. The school went into lockdown at 12:30 p.m., according to Omaha Public Schools. The suspected shooter was taken into custody about 1 p.m., and the lockdown was lifted about 1:30 p.m. Police said that the suspect is also a student and that the shooting appeared to be an “isolated incident” between the two students.
