When marijuana was legalized for retail sale in Clark County, some critics feared an exploding drug scene. But 10 years later, officials say those initial fears haven’t played out.
“What we realized was that the sky didn’t fall,” said Adam Hamide, co-owner of Main Street Marijuana.
In 2012, Washingtonians voted to legalize the sale of recreational marijuana, becoming one of the first states to do so.
