An image which purports to show a statement from Donald Trump promising to “save” U.S. President Joe Biden’s son Hunter is a fake. Trump has made no such statement.

Hunter Biden was convicted by a 12-member jury in Wilmington, Delaware on June 11 of lying about his illegal drug use to buy a gun.

The image posted on social media, opens new tab appears to show a statement by Trump dated June 11 saying, in part, that although Hunter Biden is a “terrible person,” it is hard to blame him for wanting a gun.
