Elon Musk quickly found himself persona non grata at the Valorant Champions video game tournament in Los Angeles over the weekend, where fans booed and yelled at him: “Bring back Twitter.”
Musk, who purchased Twitter in 2022 and changed its name to X earlier this year, attended the event as a spectator with his 3-year-old son, X Æ A-Xii. When the camera briefly zoomed in on the tech mogul at the KIA Forum, the crowd started booing loudly, much to the surprise of the tournament’s commentators, who noted that Musk might have prompted a bigger reaction than some of esports stars onsite.
