Man injured in Fourth of July fight in N.J. city dies days later, authorities say

A man died Tuesday from injuries sustained in a Fourth of July fight in Paterson, authorities said. The 44-year-old Paterson man, who was not identified Tuesday, was found by police lying in the middle of the street in the area of Broadway and Carroll Street shortly before 9 a.m. on July 4, the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office announced Tuesday.
