Bad Bunny Says World Tour Skips America Because ICE ‘Could Be Outside’

Puerto Rican artist Bad Bunny revealed that his upcoming world tour will not stop in the US because he is afraid Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) “could be outside” his shows.

Key Quotes: Bad Bunny was asked by reporter Suzy Ezposito if the tour routing was “out of concern” for Latino fans. He replied, “Man, honestly, yes. There were many reasons why I didn’t show up in the US, and none of them were out of hate – I’ve performed there many times. All of [the shows] have been successful. All of them have been magnificent.” He also said, “But there was the issue of — like, f***ing ICE could be outside [my concert]. And it’s something that we were talking about and very concerned about.”

The Tour: Bad Bunny is currently nearing the end of a 30-show residency in Puerto Rico that has injected nearly $200 million into the Puerto Rican economy. The Debí Tirar Más Fotos tour, announced in May, begins on November 21 and is set to conclude in July 2026. The tour will make stops in stadiums from Japan to Argentina to Poland.

For Context: Under President Trump, ICE has sought to crack down on those in the US without proper authorization. Last week, ICE raided a Hyundai plant in Georgia and detained approximately 475 workers, over 300 of whom were Koreans. South Korea and the US negotiated the release and return of the nationals. This week, the United States deported 39 Uzbek nationals back to Uzbekistan via plane with the cooperation of the Uzbek government.
