‘Antiques Roadshow’ draws thousands to Anchorage stop

Nicholas Lowry may be known for his natty plaid suits and handlebar mustache. But on Tuesday, the popular appraiser on the PBS show “Antiques Roadshow” had added a quintessential Alaska accessory to his trademark uniform — a pair of Xtratuf boots. Lowry was part of the PBS brigade in Anchorage for the filming of the show at the Alaska Native Heritage Center.
