Deputies rescue man and his dog from icy waters on U.P. lake
MARQUETTE COUNTY, MI – A man and his dog were saved from the icy waters of an inland lake Friday evening in a rescue that saw two first responders later treated for hypothermia.
The incident was reported around 4:06 p.m. Friday, April 12, when Marquette County Central Dispatch received a call of a man in distress in the waters of Lake Michigamme, about 30 miles west of Marquette.

Water line break at OLOL Medical Center
BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - A water line break is causing issues for a portion of Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center in Baton Rouge.
Hospital spokeswoman Chrislyn Maher said the issue is affecting a part of the hospital called St. Mary’s Tower.
