Woman, 74, shot and killed at west Houston senior living center
An investigation is underway into the fatal shooting of a woman at a senior living center in a west Houston neighborhood during the weekend. The Houston Police Department responded to a call Saturday after the woman, identified as Carol Webber, 74, was found dead inside an apartment complex at Treemont Senior Living, 2501 Westerland Drive, around 2:30 p.m., according to a city news release.
