LONDON, April 10 (Reuters) - Tesco (TSCO.L) , Britain's biggest retailer, forecast a further increase in profit in its new financial year as it reported an 11% rise for 2023/24 that reflected market share gains.

Mercedes-Benz vows to defend pricing levels after in-line Q1 profit drop
FRANKFURT, April 30 (Reuters) - Mercedes-Benz (MBGn.DE) on Tuesday reported lower first-quarter profits and sales that were in line with expectations, adding it would hold and defend high pricing levels seen in the first quarter.
The group's earnings before interest and tax (EBIT) fell 29.8% to 3.86 billion euros, compared with the 3.87 billion LSEG estimate.
