Food Bank of Lincoln hosts its 22nd annual Empty Bowl Luncheon
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The Food Bank of Lincoln hosted its main fundraiser on Tuesday. Attendees paid $25 for admission to the Empty Bowl Luncheon and received a belly full of soup and a custom ceramic bowl. This year, Down Under Pottery Studio made 1,085 ceramic bowls for the event. Just from the Empty Bowl event alone, 4.8 million meals have been served to those in need in the last 22 years
