College softball: Bison's Summit League tournament game suspended
BROOKINGS, S.D. — The North Dakota State softball team's Summit League Championship first round game against Kansas City on Wednesday was suspended with one out in the bottom of the fifth inning due to lightning. The Bison led 2-0 when the game was suspended. It will resume at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 11, at Jackrabbit Stadium. The Bison are the No. 3 seed and Kansas City is the No. 6 seed.

AP college football poll (Sept. 10): Texas leaps to No. 4 after Alabama upset
A win in Tuscaloosa proved prosperous for the Texas Longhorns in the latest college football rankings.
