House advances carbon pipeline legislation
PIERRE, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - Lawmakers in Pierre have voted in favor of a carbon pipeline bill.
Senate Bill 201 passed in the House Wednesday afternoon after a House committee amended the measure to say that permits issued by the Public Utilities Commission supersede county ordinances regarding pipeline setbacks.
