Man Sentenced in Murder of Victim Beaten for Rejecting Sex Act to Prove He Wasn't Cop
A Kansas man was sentenced to more than 20 years in prison on Thursday in the case of a victim who was brutally beaten and shot during a drug deal gone wrong. Matthew R. Small, 38, pleaded no contest in May to kidnapping and criminal possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. In exchange, other charges, including a count of first-degree murder, were dismissed, the Wichita Eagle reported.
