Man With Knife In Closed Elmhurst Restaurant: Cops
ELMHURST, IL – A man with a knife in Portillo's restaurant on Route 83 resulted in a police response Wednesday morning, authorities said.
About 6:30 a.m., the man was seen alone inside the closed restaurant, with officers trying to resolve the situation, police said.
The Elmhurst Crossing shopping center was closed for the time being because of the police activity.
