Pedestrian struck, killed on city's west side
A man crossing the street was struck and died a short time later at an area hospital Tuesday night. Michael Waskel, 42, was crossing West Broad Street near Rockbrook Crossing on the city's west side at about 9:15 p.m., according to a statement from Columbus police.
