The next vice president of the United States will be a senator from Ohio.
Former president Donald Trump and Sen. JD Vance edged out Vice President Kamala Harris and Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz in the presidential election called Wednesday morning by the Associated Press. Trump and Vance will be inaugurated on Jan. 20, just two years after Vance took the oath of office for his first Senate term.
